It may be painful now, but it will pass
Some days, getting out of bed feels like lifting the weight of the world.
your body moves, but your soul stays curled beneath the blanket, too tired to face another day. You stare blankly at the ceiling, wishing time could pause, just long enough for you to breathe, just long enough for the ache to loosen its grip on your chest. There are mornings when even silence feels loud, when your thoughts crash like waves and you drown in questions you canât answer. Youâre not okay and you donât know why.
You try to function. You smile when needed. You say youâre fine because explaining the storm inside feels impossible. And when youâre finally alone, you cry. Sometimes the tears fall without warning while brushing your teeth, doing the dishes, or walking home. You cry not because youâre weak, but because youâre carrying too much. And no one sees it. No one knows how heavy the weight youâve been dragging really is.
Some nights, you lie in bed staring into the dark, hoping that sleep would come to rescue you. But even sleep betrays you, and you're left with your thoughtsâthe regrets, the fears, the doubts, the quiet echo of pain you cannot name. You're tired of always being strong. Tired of pretending. Tired of feeling so much.
and yet, here you are.
youâre still here.
Youâve made it through every bad day that tried to break you. Youâve survived every moment you thought you couldnât. That alone is proof no matter how painful it gets, the pain doesnât last forever. The heaviness may linger now, but one day youâll wake up and notice itâs lighter. One day youâll look back and realize the things that once broke you no longer hold power over you.
You may not have all the answers now. You may not understand why life feels so cruel at times, why your heart aches for reasons it canât explain, or why the darkness stays longer than it should. But know this, pain has its season. And like every season, it changes. Slowly, without asking for permission, it fades.
Life has a strange way of making sense when weâre ready to see it.
maybe youâll understand why things had to fall apart. Maybe youâll see how your pain carved space for growth, for change, for something better or maybe you wonât get the answers you hoped for but youâll find peace in moving forward anyway. Sometimes healing isnât about understanding, itâs about accepting.
And when that day comes, when you find yourself laughing without guilt, smiling without forcing it, breathing without the weightâyouâll be thankful you held on. Youâll be proud of yourself for staying, for believing, even when it hurt.
if youâre in pain right now, let this be your reminder, it may be painful now but it will pass. You are not weak for feeling. You are not broken for crying. You are human and this moment does not define you. Keep going. Even if all you can do today is breathe. That is enough.
you are enough.
and someday, this chapter will just be a memory of how far youâve come.
