I came across this line on TikTok, “The right person will never have to lose you first to realize your worth.” And it hit me so hard. It made me think of all the times we gave our love to the wrong people. People who didn’t know how to care for it, who didn’t know how to value it, not until it was already too late.

Many of us have been through relationships that broke us in ways we never expected. We stayed even when it hurt. We gave everything we had, hoping it would be enough. But sometimes, even giving your whole heart isn’t enough for someone who doesn’t know what to do with it.

Some of us were cheated on. Lied to. Replaced. Some of us were in relationships that started with sweet words and soft promises but ended in silence, distance, and confusion.
